Studio Policies

Session Fee

Your session fee is due at the time of booking and reserves the time of the photographer, stylists, and assistants.

  • Non-refundable

  • If illness or an emergency arises, your session can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Session Locations & Availability

  • In-studio sessions: currently not available

  • Outdoor sessions: Monday–Saturday, starting 4–8 PM depending on the season

Your Session Images

I capture many images during your session, but only those carefully selected and edited to meet my artistic standards are shown.

  • Mini-sessions: Minimum 10 fully retouched images for review and purchase

  • Regular sessions: Minimum 30 fully retouched images for review and purchase

Order Timeline

  • Images ready in 1–3 weeks via your online gallery

  • Preview, purchase, and immediate digital download available

  • Printed orders may take up to 4 weeks

Payment

Accepted: e-transfer, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, cash, or cheque.

  • Session fees: due in full at booking, non-refundable

  • Digital images: payment in full at purchase, non-refundable, non-returnable, non-exchangeable

  • Printed orders: full payment upfront or half now/half on delivery. Custom orders may have a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Prices are subject to change; GST and shipping extra

  • Non-refundable, non-returnable, non-exchangeable

  • Copyrighted by Mortensen Photography

  • Use for personal or business purposes only

  • Cannot be resold, redistributed, or used commercially by others

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you’re not completely happy with your session images:

  • I will re-shoot your session or refund your session fee

  • Printed products will be remade until they meet your standards

  • Digital images are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable
